As long as theres good normal oil pressure and no noise from the crank smacking the pan id say ur good? How deep of a dent we talkin here? Id almost replace it maybe even with a used salvage one just for the piece of mind. But thats just my .02

It's a crease that runs across the lowest point on the sump. My guess is might be 1/2" at the most. I was concerned about restricting the flow to the pickup. No telling when this happened as I just bought the car and the damage was done who knows how long ago.

Any change? I just rebuilt my motor for my Mach 1 had it running had to break it down because of a timing issue. Put it back together slowly lost oil pressure. But I realized my pan was dented and not sure if this could be the issue.
