So lest night the Murano kinda **** the bed. Wifey was driving it home and was at a stop light. Started to accelerate and the car just had a major hiccup and pulled back and then lunged forward. It finally just turned off right as she was pulling into the driveway. Engine light came on.

So this morning I took it to drop it off at the dealer. It is still under the warranty so it shouldn't be that big of a deal....however, the same thing happened to me this morning. Accelerating from a stop light and it felt like the car shut down (hence the pull backward) and then came back on and lunged forward. Almost as if the transmission was doing something weird.

Last night I checked the oil and it appeared that there was none. We ust had the oil changed and perhaps they forgot to put it back in? I don't think that would do this though. I'm thinking it's a CVT (trans) problem.

THoughts? I want to know what's going on!

Soooo....?! What was wrong with it?
:lol so you were a lurker and now you "care?"

It is a crank pulley sensor that was bad and giving wrong readings. Supposedly causing the car to shut down momentarily and restart. :dunno Will find out more when I go and talk to the guys face to face.
