hi i just wanted to make sure im doing the right thing by getting 3.73s because im pretty sure that 4.10s would do a hell of alot more.right now my car has full intake, full exhaust, cam, rockers, upper&lower intake manifold and i ran a 9.2 in the eighth mile.now im ordering gears this friday and wanted to know if 3.73s would boost me up alot.i plan on putting a 150 shot in about 8 weeks.i was hopeing some of you guys got a before and after time slip when you installed your gears.so i can see what the diffrence is between the two...thanks alot......

if you are AOD get 4:10's if you are manual get 4.10's.. good rule of thumb. if youll be on the track ALOT and only use the car on weekends, 4.10's would be fun on a manual.

this thread is retarded...the really isnt a big difference between 3:73's and 4:10s...you'll never touch 140 again with 4:10's and prob not 3:73's...so if ur going out there trying to beat land speed records...get some 2:73's..oh wait u already do!!!

you'll notice a good difference between stock gears and either one of the those ratios..but between the two not much..and putting that tall a gear with a big shot of nitrous means the nitrous isnt going to have much use cuz you'll be shifting ever second or so for the first 100ft..if you're gunna do nitrous play around with some 3:55's
