i wana get an 86-92 fox body and build it into a drift car

i found a 4 cylinder and i was gonna turbo it
but my friend told me it wouldnt be worth it cuz it would cost too much

i was just wondering what anyone thought about that and which would be better to drift a hatch or coupe

both cars would be about the same, a v8 car would be easier to get started in because you can jump right into doing the suspension not doing the engine and suspension

4 banger front suspension is a little different as well.. I'd find a roller v8 hatch car. I say hatch because it'll cost you less then trying to scoop up a v8 notch roller and your going to do all the bracing anyways so the little bit stronger coupe chassis advantage goes out the window right there thus not worth the extra money in my mind.

I would think a fox would meet your goals without breaking the bank I mean in any other aspect a fox is one of the simplest and cost effective cars out there to modify.
