Has anyone done a dyno on a 2007 Mustang GT AUTOMATIC , that hasn't had any mods yet ?
What is the driveline loss?
I am told that the 5 speed auto's are very efficient It's use to be 20% loss.
Take my word as a grain of sand on this one, i do recall i stock 06 gt auto making 261 rwhp, cant remember the torque man.. Well then he went again (the guy at realspeed told me) with long tubes no cats, magnaflows, a cai and he came up with 281 rwhp. Pretty good if you ask me
It is hard to dyno an auto, because dyno pulls on a 5 speed are usually done in 4th gear, but there is no way to lock the trans in 4th, so you have to feather the throttle, or do the pull in 3rd, which would yeild different numbers that of a manual.
