Those numbers seem really really low to me. Most people with full exhaust and cams hit right around 300rwhp. I have a midpipe, cai, throttle body, and plenum and Im at 260rwhp.

You should be up around 285rwhp depending on if you have Longtubes or Shortys. Even being an auto, you still should be at 280rwhp at the very minumum.
What kinda dyno was that on?? Mne was on a dynojet before the gunner was like 238?? Or so?? After was 260.. I'm savin for a bbk tb and a plenum and we will see what that does..

On a Mustang dyno. Sorry bro, not trying to bash you, but something doesnt seem right. I think you have easily 25-30 more rwhp out of that car.
hey I know that's why I wrote ths tread didn't realy seem right to me but idk runs good and strong, yea I got the right cams havnt had time to finish hookin the kit up or fill the bottle so no spray yet, and I heard a dynojet reads a little lower than a mustang dyno? True? Or no way?? There is a huge diffrents now that it's tuned...

How are you at 3,000 rpm at 60? I have 410 in my auto and I think at 3,000 I am at 80mph. About the overdrive I drive to Cali once a month and its 4 hours and I go 75mph and my trans is fine. If you plan on doing alot of drag racing and you have a converter you will hump 5 speeds and there going to have to catch you in the 1/4.
I have 3.90's and a manual valve body three speed in third I'm at 3,000 at 60 cuz my over drive burnt up butwhen it was workin at 60 I was around 2,000 or so.. Aod tranny not a full on auto sorry bout the confusion

Yea but he shouldnt be 25-40 less rwhp because hes an auto man. 260rwhp isnt right for full bolt on, full exhaust (again...assuming he has Long Tubes) and cams. Thats not right at all. BTW UDP's really dont do anything, they free up 2-3rwhp. Unless your looking to get every single horsepower out of the car, I wouldnt even bother.

Im telling you man, you easily have another 20rwhp in that thing.

Nostang - Did you have the car dyno'd? or Dyno Tuned? And do you have longtube headers or shorty headers?
I have full bbk LT and h-pipe I went to get it dyno tuned, he dynoed it strait off the street it did bout 240 the he tuned for 93 (that's what I run) turned off my o2 sensors ajusted the idle a little and then it laid down 260...

Our local Mustang shop uses the DynoJet, and the guy who does the tuning has been working on stangs for years.

My last run was 283 RWHp and 300 ft-lbs torgue. My 99 Gt has the mods listed in my signature. I'm shooting for 300 RWHP with N/A. I have a few more mods to add, Professional Products Typhoon intake manifold and fuel rails, and aluminum driveshaft. Next will be the electric water pump, hope that gets to the magic mark.
I guess I'm about right then 23rwhp less than yours and you can
breath a lil beter than me. Lol but yea car runs realy good has all the power it feels like it should have... What size tb, intake, ect. Do you think would be a good for my set up? Wana keep it all bbk too. And thanks for all the responses!!!

Thats good, do you know what your air fuel raitio was? I thin you'll see good numbers with the throttle body and plenum. I reccomend C&L Plenum, they show a bunch of dynos on their site. I bought and Im very impressed with it. Plus its cheap.
Air to fuel when I plug my sct in and look at it it shows it to be at the stock setting but I saw him messin with it on his computer yea I'm debating if I wana stick with bbk or go with c&l plenum???
