The converter is suppose to suck up alittle hp too.
So I'm doin pretty good hu? How much you think a 75mm bbk tb and plenum to match add?i'm an auto and i dyno'd at 245/290 with bolt-on in my sig.
I am going to have to listen to Andre from Edge.A stall won't effect your mph as much as it will help your 60'. My gt put down 217 bone stock on a mustang dyno and with bolt-ons it puts down what's in my sig.
An auto has more parastic load through with which takes power. But a stall and tune IMO makes up for it and then some over a 5 speed for track use. NOT road course. So will a five speed help hp or not? The guy said that auto was kill hp, overdirve burnt up in it and I drive on the highway at 60 I'm runnin 3,000 rpms it's killin mpg's a five speed benifits me more, so I think the manual will be goin back in soon
nice numbers good sir. I wont have LT's on mine N.A only with the blower on it. And I am doing cams and lt at the same time so hoping for a good pick up with 10psi.i'm an auto and i dyno'd at 245/290 with bolt-on in my sig.
Those numbers seem really really low to me. Most people with full exhaust and cams hit right around 300rwhp. I have a midpipe, cai, throttle body, and plenum and Im at 260rwhp.I went and got my car tuned and with no spray and sct tuned I put down 260 hp and 273fttq are these numbers bout right or low, high???? Comp cams .550 lift bbk cold air, bbk headers and h-pipe, and I have a aod tranny with a manual valve body. Jus courios if I'm where I should be, thanks!!
honestly, i wouldnt know how much that would add w/ your cams. but for your mods, yeah those numbers are pretty good IMO.So I'm doin pretty good hu? How much you think a 75mm bbk tb and plenum to match add?
i think his numbers are about right, a friend of mine has bolt-ons, stage I cams pushing 280+rwhp (cant remember the exact HP)on a 5spd.Those numbers seem really really low to me. Most people with full exhaust and cams hit right around 300rwhp. I have a midpipe, cai, throttle body, and plenum and Im at 260rwhp.
You should be up around 285rwhp depending on if you have Longtubes or Shortys. Even being an auto, you still should be at 280rwhp at the very minumum.
What kinda dyno was that on?? Mne was on a dynojet before the gunner was like 238?? Or so?? After was 260.. I'm savin for a bbk tb and a plenum and we will see what that does..Those numbers seem really really low to me. Most people with full exhaust and cams hit right around 300rwhp. How are you at 3,000 rpm at 60? I have 410 in my auto and I think at 3,000 I am at 80mph. About the overdrive I drive to Cali once a month and its 4 hours and I go 75mph and my trans is fine. If you plan on doing alot of drag racing and you have a converter you will hump 5 speeds and there going to have to catch you in the 1/4.So will a five speed help hp or not? On a Mustang dyno. Sorry bro, not trying to bash you, but something doesnt seem right. I think you have easily 25-30 more rwhp out of that car. What kinda dyno was that on??
