I know a guy on AFM Forums, he has an auto GT, basically the same exact mods as me except he has an off road x, and UDP (no headers or cams) and dynoed at 259rwhp.

WOW really?

I dont know man, that doesnt sound right. I could believe the 240rwhp if your air fuel ratio was way off. But man, Im not trying to sound like I have the best mustang at all, but I have 261rwhp with only the mods in my sig...

So something doesnt sound right man, you should try to see another tuner. You live in Texas? What place did you go to for a dyno tune?
dude i guess you dont understand he is an auto so his numbers will seem low... he is not going to be at 290 or so.... though it seems a little low not greatly though.. he does not have a tb and plenum nor did he say anything about a catback...and if your o/d shot your converter could be pretty bad off also... i put down 273/299 with 75mm tb,plenum, off road h pipe, borla catback and a jlt cold air intake thru my auto and thats with nitrous cams...i say he is only about 10 off... but if the car runs good then your good..dont **** yourself its just a number

No I agree its just a number, I like timeslips better anyways.

Yea I forgot about the Throttle Body and Plenum, definatley needs that.
And I know you lose more because of an auto, but not 25rwhp should be the differance (only up in the mid to high 200rwhp range also). I think a 70mm Throttle Body and either a good plenum will give him 10-15rwhp because he has full exhaust and cams.

If your car is running good then sweet, I still see more potential. I think your best interest would be to buy a 70mm Throttle Body and Plenum get it re-dyno tuned and check your air fuel. Good luck bro

Yup, his car is accually nice, GT with all Cobra body kit. But he doesnt call it a Cobra, calls it a "Fobra" hes putting a Vortech on it soon. this is a list from his Sig:

2003 Mustang GT Fobra
-------------------------------
Performance Mods:

AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake
Flowmaster Mufflers
SCT X2/91 Performance Tune
C&L Plenum
Accufab 75mm Throttle Body
FRPP 3.73 Gears
FMS Driveshaft
Steeda Underdrive Pulleys
Pypes Off Road X-Pipe

Dyno Numbers:

262RWHP
280TQ

Hes also on 91, not even 93...makes good numbers.

Man, my thing lately is my car just doesnt feel like a 427rwhp car. Maybe im just used to it but dunno. I drove a new camaro SS the other day and it felt SLOW AS ****! What rwhp should they have. It may just be me but i dont think so and if i had to guess, i think my heads are WORE OUT! Ever since my FIRST time at the track my car has never been the same. When i cold start it, it bucks around till it clears about a minute or so later. Used to not do that. And it just doesnt feel like the torque is there like it used to be. Certainly not 415rwtq. I just wish there was a dyno tuner in my area. I think my tuner just has my tune so retarded safe. Doesnt have the pull like i feel like it should. Thats why im ready to get a shortblock built and get these NEW stage 2 heads and my cams in.

Our local Mustang shop uses the DynoJet, and the guy who does the tuning has been working on stangs for years.

My last run was 283 RWHp and 300 ft-lbs torgue. My 99 Gt has the mods listed in my signature. I'm shooting for 300 RWHP with N/A. I have a few more mods to add, Professional Products Typhoon intake manifold and fuel rails, and aluminum driveshaft. Next will be the electric water pump, hope that gets to the magic mark.
I guess I'm about right then 23rwhp less than yours and you can
breath a lil beter than me. Lol but yea car runs realy good has all the power it feels like it should have... What size tb, intake, ect. Do you think would be a good for my set up? Wana keep it all bbk too. And thanks for all the responses!!!

No I know. I think with a better tune on 93 a throttle body and plenum I think he'd see 20ishrwhp. I really think his tune sucks. Its running lean.

Nostang, I dont know if you went to a Mustang shop to get it dyno tuned, but look for a popular Mustang Dyno/Shop and get it re-tuned when you get a TB and Plenum, I think you'll be far more impressed with your numbers.

Thats good, do you know what your air fuel raitio was? I thin you'll see good numbers with the throttle body and plenum. I reccomend C&L Plenum, they show a bunch of dynos on their site. I bought and Im very impressed with it. Plus its cheap.

I forgot you had a 150 shot. Personally, Id go with a 75mm Throttle Body (from either Accufab or Professional Products) and go C&L plenum. The BBK looks sweet, BUT its a 78mm throttle body into the plenum (all one piece.) So when you dont spray, it could accually rob you some horsepower, and feel alittler weaker up top.
