im thinking of using the same controller and ive seen a coupler that you cut either the upper or lower radiator hose and it splices the hose back together and has a fitting for a temp sensor im not sure what its called though

Most people I see use a chrome water kneck from late model resto or cj pony parts because it already has a tapped whole to screw your sender into.

oh yea thats what I thought it was but the gap is to wide I just bought this part a couple days ago

Thanks for the replies. Here's what I used... It's a direct replacement like the chrome one, has the 3/8" hole in it, etc... Only $11.99 and I was able to paint it black like all my other ****...

the chrome ones are known to have leak problems - just drill/tap your stock aluminum one with a 9/16" drill and 3/8" NPT tap.
