(Reps to those to who give decent information or help)

I have had some minor electrical issues for a while now. Little things such as when I get above 3,000 RPM's I would lose most of my power, the interior lights would dim, and eventually the car would die if revved to high or revved high enough, for long enough (not that I go around everyday at 5,000 RPM or anything, just where I missed a shift or something). It never really got worse though, and after having the alt tested at two different places and it testing out fine, I didn't really give it a second though.

A couple of days ago, I was accelerating off a stop light (nothing hard just normal) and suddenly the car just died. No power, no nothing. I popped the hood, and heard a repetitive clicking noise coming from what sounded to be the like the fuse box. I removed the positive power connector, the click stopped, and I got a little power, but not enough to start the car, and after trying to start it, it completely died again. Repeated this about two more times and finally it just started, and acted as if nothing happened.

Today it ran fine until I got home from work, parked my car, attempted to lock and arm it, and it was gone again. Popped the hood, did everything I did the previous night, but nothing. Took it up to get tested, and it had a full charge. Checked all the fuses, but they appeared fine, none busted. I reinstalled the battery and it seemed like at first it was back to normal. Turned the key once and everything powered up properly, but when I tried to start it, it died again. The difference being this time (not sure if it just started doing this or I didn't notice it before) there was a clicking noise coming from the back of the car on the drivers side. The clicks will start out clicking about 1-2 times a second, and gradually slow down till it stops for about 2 seconds, then again back at the starting pace.

Here are some pictures of the [box] (if you want to call it that) that the sound is coming from.

That is in the trunk behind the taillight.
Ideas?

I took apart the terminal connectors and cleaned them with a wire brush and put it back together nice and tight, and what you assume would make since but that it starts sometimes and not other throws me off. Haven't really checked the grounds well though. What does the inertia switch do?

Hmmm, well if that were the case and it was tripped for some random reason, I would have power, just no fuel....So that doesn't sound right.

Damn, I'm stumped.

The actual box, not the switch. I had the alt tested before and it tested fine. Also when I took the battery up to get tested it had a full charge. If the alt was bad it would have been dead (right?). I'll have to try and take it apart for better pictures tomorrow as the car is not in my garage, and I would have to push it up a decent incline to get it there, and its dark out already (stupid short winter days).

alright just looked and the CCRM is located in the same place on your as the new edge's. Id like to know what the box is though, if you are hearing clicking coming from that box then there may be some relays in there or something.
Yeah the clicking is differently coming from there. I could feel it when I put my hand on it. CCRM?

Well I have talked to a couple of people I know about it. One has suggested that it might be a loose ground, and by me reattaching the battery connectors its moving the wire a bit to where its grounding again, and vice-versa. Another has said that since the power is being drained from the entire car, rather than just lights or starter, that its one of the main power cables that have a loose, or corroded connection. So tomorrow I will need to go through all of the main wiring and see if I can find the culprit. Does anybody know where to find a wiring diagram from my car?

The clicking from a relay in the back of the car is still throwing me off though... Oh and what I failed to mention earlier is that it will even do it with the keys out of the car and it turned completely off (lights and everything). In order to get it to stop I have to disconnect the battery....So wired.
