Alright so i just bought a sct 3x tuner, and i want to get a tune but dont have the money to go to a dyno atm...

the mods on my car are:

Fuel pump
40# Injectors

Thats about it.

Where exactly could i get a good tune emailed to me, and if so how much would it cost roughly?

I bought the tuner used, incase that matters.

Where did you buy your SCT tuner? I got mine off American Muscle and it has free email tunes for life.

The fuel pump doesn't require a new tune. The injectors do. Why are you running 40# injectors?

Running the injectors won't hurt, won't help thou. all boosted cars run bigger injectors and they run fine off boost. the duty cycle will be low. I would suggest to get a good mass air, perferably the one you plan on using and putting it in with the injectors and get them tuned together. one step closer for a tune after your fi

If tuned for them, otherwise the PCM will think they are 19 (or 21 depending on the year of his car) lb/h units, and set the injector pulse according to that belief--it will run pig rich..

I agree, the stock MAF is only good to 325 fwHP or so (running f/i)--those 40 lb/h injectors will support 450 fwHP give or take...

+1 My stock MAF gave out around 360-370 rwhp. I actually ran a few months at SAE 385 rwhp with it. But I didn't like the tune that the installer put on. It had a 9.9 A/F ratio mid-range dropping to 12.2 at 6000 rpms. That is why I bought a MAFia and got a new tune. Now the A/F ratio is 11.8 across the board.

But I also agree with Cabikejumper. Injectors can be changed in just a few minutes. I'd have waited to put them in.

Joe @ Trick Tuners
this. He tuned my car when other people couldn't. Kurgan and Joe worked together to get my tune right since Kurgan didn't have enough time to figure out my idle issue when he was out here in Cali tuning. Overall you can't beat what joe has to offer, he's very good at what he does.
