The rear O2s will have to be turned back on, or it will come up as "Not ready" when testing via ODBII.

Hey guys, I need a little help here. I just went in for emission here in Ontario and the car failed.

It only failed the "Curb idle" test with a reading of 1.56% and limit set at 0.70%. Any ideas as to how I can correct this? The current mods to the car are FRPP cams, JLT intake, JB shortie headers, and a custom dyno tune.

Any help is appreciated.

Which measurement was that pear? CO?
Yeah it was the CO% reading and I do have the stock cats. I will be taking the car in for a diagnostic reading sometime soon. And if they quote me to replace my cams then i qualify for a "conditional pass" therefore I don't need the car to pass.

I'm going to have to lean it out at idle. I just hate emissions so much BS.

Yeah, tell me about it, during the 1700 RPM test it registers almost no CO. I'm just gonna get a conditional pass this time and get a emissions tune from AM after the CMCV plates go on. Today being the day the plate stickers expires kinda sucks but I only took it out of storage on Monday.

Hopefully they quote me something over $450 so that I can qualify for the conditional pass.

A quote for having an aftermarket part removed is enough to qualify for that?
Yeah, good thing for it too. All the guy wrote down was he suspects the cams and tune to be the reason and gave me the conditional pass. but I did have to pay $200 for him to look at it and tell me something I already knew.
