I would like to start by saying that i have done a tone of searching and now i need some answers! I bought the car used about 8 months agao and the problems soon followed. About a month after i bought my car it decided to go into engine failsafe mode. I didnt think much of it at first at first but it is geting more regular now. It threw codes for the TPS and TACM. This is where it gets interesting, until this point the only known mods on the car was a spectre CAI and a Pypes muffler delete. Well i did a lot of research and found that most of the time this problem would be solved by replacing the TPS. Well to my suprise, when i went to change the TPS the car has a BBK twin 62MM throttle body. I replaced the TPS and no luck. I did some more research and found that sometimes the voltage needs to be adjusted on the TPS. My problem is that i dont have the factory throttle body to get a base measurement from. I did check the voltage on the tps now and it bounces from 1.31-1.33. I adjusted it down a bit becasue that seems a little high. The car continues to go into failsafe engine mode. Im lost as to what to do next. I dont have the money to have the dealership to fix it. Please Help!!!

if you go here There is a video there where the guy installs a BBK twin 62mm and he shows you where to measure the voltage and how to adjust it.

after you get the tb fix the big question is do you have a tuner for it or does it the car even have a tune becuase if not you either need to get one or put the stock parts back on the motor the muffler deletes are fine

Thanks for the link on the voltage test. As for the tuner, I do not own one. I am also not sure as to whether the car has a tune on it or not. As for the tuners what is the best recomendation for the mustang, DSP or SCT?

I looked for the video but i couldnt find it. I aslo read the drirections on how to set the voltage. My problem is that i do not have the stock throttle body to measure the voltage from to get a base voltage.

The video is on the right of the picture. It's actually an install video but about 3/4 of the way through they show the voltage on the stock TB and then show how to set the voltage on the BBK TB.

I would recommend SCT as would most others here would. If the car has a TB I would assume that the car "should" have a tune, now I use "should" loosely here since you are going into failsafe.
