I have the codes P0430, P0133, P0153 coming up on my sct.I need to get this fixed because my inspection is out. I looked it up and got this
P0430- Basically this means that the oxygen sensor downstream of the catalytic converter on bank 2 is detecting that the converter is not working as efficiently as it should be (according to specs). It is part of the vehicle emissions system
A code P0133 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
• The oxygen sensor is faulty
• The wiring to the sensor is broken / frayed
• There is an exhaust leak
A code P0153 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
• The oxygen sensor is faulty
• The wiring to the sensor is broken / frayed
• There is an exhaust leak
I have replaced both o2 sensors less than a week ago and reset the CEL multiple times...are my cats bad? I might have an exhaust leak. Is there an easy way to check the cats?
