ok so i figure sense im loosing weight and eating more i might as well share some things i have made.

start simple.

spaghetti with meat
roughly 300 calories for a cup and a half which is a lot by the way

1 pound ground turkey 93% lean or higher
3 cups low sodium tomato juice
1 can low sodium tomato sauce
1 can petite diced tomatoes(regular diced works too but i dont like massive chunks of tomato)
1tbsp oregano
1tbsp onion powder(i hate onions so feel free to substitude with half a real onion if you desire)
1tbsp basil
dash of salt
dash of pepper
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves of garlic pressed(you can buy it pree pressed in store)
2tbsp italian seasoninh
1 bay leaf

k now here is the hard part

fry meat in non-stick pan with no oil and drain when brown

in a pot add everything else minus bay leaf(dont wanna break it up sense your removing it later) and mix

toss in meat

heat to boil and toss in bay leaf

reduce to simmer and let it do its thing covered for 1 1/2 to 2 hours

remove bay leaf

cook pasta according to box directions.


if you dont have all these spices already then you need to start by going to the spice isle and grab pretty much one of everything lol
