Say hello to the new Mustang! :)

She's a 2015 Mustang GT - Base, with Performance Package and Ruby Red Paint. No other options selected. Why? Because reasons. It's an autocross car sillies! No need for all that extra weight!

First mod is already done too! See if you can spot it. ;)

Ohhhh

That looks way better! Did you plastidip?
Yessir! Couldn't stand the way that diffuser looked from the factory. Just looks cheap and unfinished. The black really ties in the rear of the car to the rest of the lower trim pieces which are all black on the Performance Package cars (front lip and side skirts).

That's a nice mod.

When is your first track day/autox? Are you excited?
This weekend is the first autocross event, and I will be there. Saturday is a Test'n'Tune (IE: Get all the seat time!) and Sunday is the actual event. Car already has 150 miles on it just from driving it around yesterday showing it to people who requested to see it when it arrived and then back home.

I like DIB and Guard too, but I was happy to find Ruby Red for the deal I got as well :D
I liked DIB on the 11-14 Mustangs, but it doesn't suit this body style as well... hides too many of the body lines. Guard was an interesting color and was torn over it, but Ruby Red just pops on this chassis.

Beautiful, I was being told by my co-worker to plasti dip the diffuser as well, But I hadn't seen one previously done to see if I liked it, I might just let him do it for me... =P

That's an awesome looking ride.

Great buy Whiskey!
Excited to see how you decide to set the car up for sure
I'm sure that I'll be following along closely, make sure you post many updates here!
Welcome to the S550 world!

Also, what were your first impressions?
I found that the IRS is bliss. Takes corners and road irregularities and just eats them up, no problems.
The Pirelli's really aren't a bad factory tire, they grip rather well laterally and really seem to keep the car planted mostly.

My car has seen a couple autocross track days here and there, but most recently I got it out on Hallett for some high speed lap time, and boy was that fun.
Tires and suspension are in the works.

Right now the plan is simple: Tires, swaybars (BMR on the way), exhaust (MBRP Race, not ordered yet, probably wont be till next year), and a competition alignment.

If I remember correctly dick has wheels and tires ( Bridgestone Jesus tire) and strano struts which he said was a huge improvement
