I was jus goin over options for my fuel system in my head and it dawned on me that no one has ever mentioned an FMU on these forums (to my knowledge) in an F/I type setup.....whats the story on this? do I need to look into an aftermarket piece or is this all computer controlled since our systems are return-less? any help would be much appreciated :)

Isn't an FMU just a fancy term for an adjustible fuel pressure regulator? I've read about people using these to dial in fuel trims after an injector swap, but it's really not an ideal method. Dropping fuel pressure to compensate for larger injectors will change flow rates so that the ECU can still run on stock injector parameters, but it'll also change the injector response time and probably some other variables. You'll have better luck running ECU programming to match injector size. It's easy enough for SN95's and up with a programmer.
