From what year do I need to get the pump from? And does it need to be just an "svt" focus or can it be a zx3 or zts?
I tries looking all this up but no luck

They are giving me this ford number 3S4Z9H307BC
Is this correct? Looks correct

I got mines from lethalperformance.com. You have to call them tho. 1-877-2LETHAL

They are around $200 but are a direct fit.

140 is not too steep
But I think in gonna go return style with a walbro 255 pump
Hence why I made my return style swap thread

The link I posted is a walbro 255 pump for a 2004 ford svt focus. It comes in airtex box but, made by walbro.

If it drops in to a focus it should drop in the the mustang. Just don't waste money on a focus basket or anything. All you need is the pump.

I know this is a bit old now but just to confirm, yes that is the right number for the SVT pump.

you know how to swap the pump over ?

Seems like I slapped up a few pics over on 3.7 Ill see if I can find it.

I should do a write up on that some day too :p

dropping the tank is pretty simple, there are tons of write ups online, its just kind of a pain in the ass but nothing too difficult





old vs focus



when you take off the hat this is what you will see (note focus pump already in for this pic)



pull these connections off



unscrew the top of the basket, carefull the screws holding this are tiny



bolt hat back up and re connect all lines



** not a full write up, just basic info

yes they do lol

and as you can see one set has the stock rear and the other has the new 8.8

i had to drop the tank again this year to replace the filler neck gasket, after getting it all back together the filler tube failed a few weeks later

:mad:

still need to drop it again

might just buy a terminator tank
