i paid $160 for my 275/35/17 nitto 555, and i just bought new tires for my new 18s the other day and paid $180 for each of my 275/35/18. dont know wher eyour seeing that 300 at. i wouldnt buy off the internet cuz if thats what they are charging your getting ****ed. i can post my reciept if yall would like
you just got the regular 555's, not DR's then, that makes sense. 275's arent that bad priced for 18's, its when you go 295+ they start getting EXPENSIVE.
the drag radials on 305 were only going to cost me 200 and the m/t 305/40/18 (might not be the right size but the big m/t drag radial) was gonna cost me 240 per tire

i dont see how thats possible, discount tire is pretty much the biggest nitto dealer there is, and i think their cost on the 305/35/18's are $225, and they sell for like $285 each.

and the MT's sell for about the same, and i think cost is a little less, i get them from keystone, and they cost me $240 each, and keystone has a 10-15% markup before their dealers.
i would go with 17's, cheaper wheels, cheaper tires, larger tire selection, more sidewall, ect.
+1 AND less rotational weight=FASTAA!!!
285's are a little narrow for a 18X10. and if your doing a wheel/tire setup, its a must to do a staggared setup.
???????i have that set up now and it is perfect.285's are definitely not too narrow for an 18x10.:D
btw, 275/40/17 nitto 555R's are only $150 on the interweb

The best thing to do is weigh your options and buy what you feel would look the best on you car.
all my prices are mounted and balanced and i can post up who i get them through and you can contact them yourselves and ask the price
^^what can you get nitto 555r's for...315/35/17
i think i said 160 for me but thats mounted and balanced im pretty sure 150 per tire
its going to cost probably $20 each tire in shipping to ship it though, and discount tire direct is free shipping $169 per 315/35/17
thread killed:(
lol starter up again im getting my rims and april and still deciding what size rims to get...17x9 17x10.5 , 18x9 18x10 or 17x9 18x10?!?!?!?! on things for sure though there gonna be black fr500!!!
I had 17x9 and 17x10.5 bullitts at first, but just recently went to 18x9 and 18x10 black fr500s. I think my car looks much better with the bigger rims IMO.
I installed my wheels Saturday. I went with 275/40's all the way around. Nitto 555r's in the back. What do you think?

Eibach Sportlines.

Yeah, I'll get you some of the rear soon.
17x10.5 with 315 nitto DR are sex, the best thing u can do for your car IMO,

That's great for someone that doesn't use their car as a dd. If you do use it as a dd and drive around with drag radials, I hope you like buying tires.
the nittos have great tire life for a drag radial. but ya know you gotta pay to play with the big boys. and you wont find a street radial that will hook anywehre close to the nitto 555r and plus the are cheap
