So i'm positive I'm going to buy a cowl hood. And I'm pretty sure i'm gonna go with the steeda. But I'm not entirly sure just yet.

Steeda sells two kinds.
Steeda Ultralite Full Cowl Induction Hood - '05-'08 Ford Mustang
or
Steeda Street Cowl Hood - '05-'08 Ford Mustang

I go to the strip a lot and the cooldown times are terrible because of the stock hood (as far as I know) a hood that will stay within 5 degrees of ambient sounds REALLY GOOD...but for 600+?

of course theres the cervinis ones as well, lemme know what you think!

BTW! planned on painting the cowl part matte black to match my new spoiler and blackout panel (probablly the CDC one). The exact paint scheme looks very similar to the way steeda has their cowl hoods painted.

thanks for your help!

I got the trufiber Ram Air hood with heat extraction vents and it also fit into the factory slots. Looks great and truely does keep the engine cool.
