i am blacking out the roof with vinyl on my white gt, any comments before i do this?
getting gloss black

well the price is right and the guy guarantees me if i dont like it i can take it off with no problems

I once owned a 68 Charger with a vinyl roof and installed it myself. So I have to say, I find it extraordinarily hard to believe that it can be removed without damage, if I were you I would prepare for a repaint if you don't like it. That said, from an old school muscle car look, I am a big big fan of vinyl tops. So if you went with a theme (maybe torq thrust D's), I think it could be an amazingly cool look, and it would definitely be different. If you are a fan of the look, I say go for it.

I originally thought you were going with a vinyl "leather" roof like the classics. That would be pretty cool. I vinyl sticker would look alright too. It would look like the glassroof mustangs. I wouldnt do it but I dont have anything against it really.

I have seen several white cars with it done, but no mustangs, it looks real nice. A guy i know who has it has been talking me into it. So i think it is worth a try.

I say do it... there are some guys on here that can photoshop their ass off and give you an idea of what it will look like... but I am old and can't remember who they are...

Don't do it. Too many ghetto mobiles around my area have spoiled this type of color scheme with their 26" wheels on Crown vics and more recent Chargers.

If you want your car mistaken for a ghetto mobile then be my guess.
