So I've been to the track once b/f and ran a 12.83 @113. This was on a stock T-5 w/ radial tires. I blew up 3rd gear and have since got a Promotion SHD295 T5. I added all the options, Cryo gears, upgraded keys, etc. I also got a Super King Cobra clutch kit. I have around 420 RWHP. So I am gonna get a set of slicks this weekend and was wondering the following:

1. At what RPM should I launch?

2. How do I know when to stop the burn out?

3. What PSI should I run?

4. What's gonna break next? LOL

2. When the car starts moving forward regardless of how hard youre pushing the brakes
3. Start at 17 and lower it till it hooks

do you have a stock suspension and drivetrain besides the trans and clutch? I would be careful launching on slicks with stock axles and suspension

It's lowered and has MM full length Sub conn. and MM Front strut tower brace.

dont be a pussy just launch it, people run 10s all the time on stock axles

well you guys have officially talked me out of slicks until further mods have been done. I'l prob. wait until I get axles and a torque box kit. What other suspension parts would you recommend? This is by no means a track car so I only want to basics.

5 lug is you want to run slicks.

What do you have currently done to your motor?

please stop giving bad information..you will make our forum look bad.

How is a 5 lug upgrade bad information, I didnt say that you couldnt run 4 lugs with slicks.
