Heres the deal. My buddy has a 97 f150 with the 4.6 motor. It has about 165k miles on it and he is wanting to swap in some left over stock lower mile heads from a 01 gt. Is this just a straight swap? We also have the intake manny and all tht stuff, but I see a problem with that. ON the truck the engine is set back a little under the front cowl, I dont think the mustang plenum and tb will have room to fit under there?

Can anyone help me on this?

intake should/prob fit. The truck intake is very tall, and the mustang intake is lower in over all height.

At worst you gotta get a truck intake from a 01+ truck to match up to the new PI heads

If the mustang intake works, youll prob have to fig out some vacuum line locations, rerouting etc, not a big deal just a heads up
