I have 2 of the H.O. intakes laying around and was wwondering if they are even worth using? Would it completely kill my ppower on a gt40 e cam setup? If so how much power am I losing? I'm using an f4b right now and I'm gunna switch to fuel injection soon and was wondering if the h.o. is comparable

The HO intakes are restrictive on stock heads, so will probably be worse on better heads. Pick up a used Explorer intake for cheap, I've used them before & they work well.

Use an explorer intake. Anything else on Gt40's are overkill but a stock intake will be restrictive.

If you get that sucker ported by tmoss, your restriction will be the cam.

A stock intake flows less than factory gt40 heads.

I have a ported explorer intake and it works great. I made 294rwhp and 310 ft lbs. of torque.
