Have a set or Borla stingers and they sound great. Will there be much of an improvement with an aftermarket h or x pipe? Which would you choose if so?

Hey, ive heard the stingers on a mach1 with longtubes and an off road H and it trumpeted a lot, kind of blatty. Wasnt much of a fan
However my friend had a gt with stingers and an mrt Catted H and it sounded great.

And me personally, i ran bassani midlengths, a bassani off road X pipe, and stingers on my 2v and it sounded great! Just loved my bassani catback more. But it was the second runner up.

I wiild either run a catted H or either catted or off road x depending on how loud and aggressive you want it to be.

I have BBK long tubes and stingers. I had an off-road H pipe. It sounded great but made a blat or trumpet sound at certain rpms. I went with an off-road X. It was so raspy and there was no deepness to it. It also lost volume. I put the H pipe back on and welded in high flow metallic 200 cell count cats. Now it sounds good.

I emphasized the cats because I wanted to kill the blat and fumes but not the volume. With such a high flowing cat thats so small, volume decreased by maybe 5 to 10 percent but the blat and fumes were gone. Added bonus was the exhaust note got deeper.

I had the factory H-Pipe on my 2001 Bullitt and loved the sound. Either way I think you will get what you are looking to achieve.
