Really? What's up with the stupid articles popping up in the sticky sections? That's just pitiful. I know it's been a while since I logged on but now I remember why. I'm out.

It's right above in the sticky section.

It's just sad to see where this place has gone to from the great place this used to be. I know social media has taken a lot out but since this place went corporate a while back it just doesn't seem to heading in a productive direction.

i don't see those links because i run an ad blocker. that's your best bet if you don't want to see them. i agree that putting articles like that is shady as hell, but there's not **** that we can do about it from our end. that's all autoguide. we've voiced our opinions about this kind of thing and they don't give half a ****. they can't seem to grasp that when you have a forum you need to focus on maintaining activity and that the ad revenue will follow, not the other way around.

but let's be honest, running ads out the ass in every place possible is just the state of the internet these days. you really should look into an ad blocker. i use ublock origin

Well, I spend the majority of my day at work and on a city owned computer. I can not install or uninstall any programs without the city's IT guy doing it.

I understand that ads bring in revenue but at least keep it mustang/ford/car related at least. And yes This site has never been the same after the Auotguide folks took it over. But what I don't understand is how they don't realize that they are doing a shitty job and how far this site has gone off the deep end.

Unfortunately it's out of the hands of the actual users here. Adblock blocks them but they show up on my mobile.

I have an ad blocker and I get five of the seven. The ones that say "sticky: " are ours not autoguide's. They were originally used for general tech information that everyone could use. But there seems to be a lot of them nowadays. I just ignore them and scroll down to the discussion forum. I haven't read a sticky in years.

Just the straw bro. You know I used to love coming here and loved the forum. I just cant stand to see what it has become. It's a sad place to visit now days. Not doing it out of anger or anything, just don't want to be a part of it anymore.
