how much power would i see from a fully ported tb upper and lower intake, along with fully ported and shaved stock heads? (11:1 compression preferably, but is it even possible to have a shop machine that much off the heads?)

cant decide between this or a new computer for school... what do you think?

if youre gonna do all that, you should also do an intake spacer and cams at the same time to get the most out of the setup :yes

and i think the term youre looking for is milling the heads :lol

lol i wasent sure what exactly it was called but i read and article in a magazine last month that referred to it as shaving material of the bottom of the heads to increase compression so i just guessed and thats what i ended up with. but its good to know the correct terminology lol thanks.

i would like to do the cam and valve train as well but i don't think ill have that much to spend, and I'm not sure how big i can go with the cam without needing springs, lifters, and pushrods and such.

you will need higher compression pistons to get that kind of compression
in that case than, wuts the highest compression approx that he can get by just milling the heads than?

for the cam, youll just need new springs. lifters and pushrods arent required

stock is 9.37:1cr so i would think you could hit 10:1or pretty close to it??

:D swheet!! swap the jmod for a spec clutch and aluminum flywheel and thats a nice list. (original has 76,000 on it)

ya, i had to sit there and think for a solid 3-4 minutes than add up all the costs on my PCs calculator :p
