I have Bbk long tubes and a tko 600 5 speed. I was wondering if I can take the trans out and put it in also With Just unbolting it off the bellhousing and leaving that all in the car. Basically what part hits on the long tubes? I don't want to loosen headers.

By the way I'm Just finding out so I know cause if it was already all together then I'd just look and see where it would hit. Just need to know why people can't Get the trans out with long tubes. I don't know if its cause the bell or the actual trans

My bell housing on my 3650 would hit and I had to remove my passenger side header to get it off and back on.

If you have a TKO600 you should be able to unbolt the transmission from the bell housing and remove it without touching the headers. The problem with BBK's and a 3650 or T45 is that you can't separate the transmission and bell housing and there isn't enough room to maneuver it out of the car.
