Im taking my slicks so i need a few tips. My buddy is calling to make sure our group is going. What should i lauch at with 373's and my 28" MT drags? Really wish i had a 2 step.

right, do you have axles? if so 4000 cause your going to have that punch from the supercharger right out of the box:yes

I seen some clips on the internet of a guy in a N/A stang on slicks with stock heads and long black...guess he had cams...launching at 6000...ran a 12.2...but man...idk...play with your rpm's...try like 4000..and go up...you got a tall tire for 3.73's...

it all depends whats in that rear end.

As far as what? His launch rpm? Ya...I didn't think bout it...I was posting that when you posted yours and we both happened to say 4k...but ya...if he's got stock axles...I wouldn't push'em to hard

if he has aft axles he would be fine but those stock axles with slicks scary!

all stock rear end with my gears only. Im launching at 4000. Bout to head out now.

i just have to get my driving down. Everyone was saying that it will scare you on the slicks the 1st time and it did. When it hooks, IT HOOKS! I made sure to slide my seat up. My buddy was like "what happened when you came off the line? You spun just for a couple feet and then they hooked and you let off". LOL.

hopefully next time you'll have the two step and be running quarter mile

Yeah im going to look into that. And i want to get the tires hotter. They still spun in second. The car bucks bad when shifting. Looks like my suspension is wore out. (prolly is)

go to summit in keyword type in msd launch master i believe its about 200 it's all controlled by the clutch.
