So I'm looking for a camera for the wife. She wants a small one that she can carry around pretty easily. She really isn't into photography she just likes taking pics at family events and videos sometimes. Looking to spend around 200 or less what are some good options for a point a shoot? And what is it about that camera you like?

I highly recommend the Nikon Coolpix line. They're great little point-and-shoots. Decent size screen with good brightness on the back, good size image sensor, and the shots come out great.
Nikon S4300

16MP, light, and a lot of settings if you want them. And just over $100 retail
