Thoughts?

Was driving home doing approx. 45 to 50. Hit a pot hole and then this noise started. Sounded like exhaust broke free so I stopped in the old deli and stated kicking the pipes - nope. Got home 15 mins later and sounded like it was coming from the passenger front. Disassembled the entire thing down to the hub - nope and the bearings are good.

Went for a drive with my father. "Sounds like the rear". Got home and jacked it up. Took off all the brake parts and rotors. Car was free on jack stands. Def. in the pumpkin. I blew out the spider gears a few years ago and had them replaced - think they went again?

I've got a chunk of something jammed tight in between the ring gear and the carrier. Pinion gear has a bunch of chips and nicks all over it. Clunk is in the driver's side axle tube somewhere.
