I have searched around and I keep finding conflicting information. I want to install LEDs behind the gauges and HVAC in my car. However, right now my numbers are green.

Is this because of a film behind the gauges or the bulbs themselves? Dont have time to pull the gauges and look for myself today.

If its a film, can it be removed?

I have a 95 GT. Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, new edge mustangs have a blue film on the back of the gage with yellow bulbs, making the green tint.

Thanks guys. Swapped them out today and I love the new look. Matches my radio nearly to perfection. My only beef is that now my needles are yellowish instead of red. Wonder what to do about that??

Here is a picture. I still have to do the HVAC ran out of time today. The photo makes the hot-spots look a lot worse than they really are in person. Im happy with them.
