im looking for the cylinder head temp sensor on a 01 mustang. can anyone upload a photo? pics explain alot better than words.

no pic,
but its simple. only one of them that I know of.

Look on:

Driverside
Head.
Backside.

its a brass piece that screws into the head. Black plastic plug attatched to the wiring. the wiring is taped together with a bunch of other wires about an inch thick. Idk how easy it is to see with the eninge in the car and what not. But its not to hard to find.

The back side of the heads are about 6''X4". So not alot of places to look ....

Take a hand mirror and you should be able to see it. Are you trying to replace it?

yeah i bought a new one, it keeps kicking out the cylinder head overheating code even though my temp gauge is normal, guy at napa told me to replace the sensor. so do i need to take the valve covers off? still kind of confused
