My wife's 2006 V6 is bright red. We bought it about a year ago with around 25-30k miles. The paint on the very front edge of the car is chipping off. It's white underneath which shows up bad with the bright red paint. I've read that this is a common issue with around that year model. Is there any kind of recall or something to make them pay for it to be painted? Or anything I can say to the salesman I bought it from to get them to pay or it or atleast part of it? He has been very helpful in the past and nice. Helping me track down my wife's car we traded in so I could buy it back and sending us Christmas and birthday cards. Thanks for any input

I think it's just in any type of mustang year models I have an 02 that chips so bad on the hood and fenders by the hood I have reprinted every 2 years or so :( I think it's either the aerodynamics or the way the car sits like Low to the ground
