I didn't put mine on. But no, I have never seen a car with the lanyards and seen them damage the paint. They have a protective coating on them.

Yeah those aren't the Shelby pins. These are. They say Shelby right on them.

His don't say Shelby on them, and although now I won't say I'm positive cuz I'm old and my memory blows, lol, I am quite sure he at one point he told me he bought the shelby look-a-likes from SS Inserts. I am however absolutely positive that when I asked him where he bought those pins, he is the one who gave me the SS Insert link.

Perhaps he'll come along and tell us again so we know for sure.
