remove seatbelt from inside rear of car

then remove interior c pillar panel

you will then need to remove the screws holding in the exterior c pillar

then remove the upper door weather striping, then remove the metal c chanel that the weather striping was in

then you can remove the screws holding in the outer trim,

the outer trim is held to the c pillar with a screw and the c pillar needs to be removed or atleast loosened to get the screw out

this is from when i installed my mach 1 c pillars

here is the pillar removed from the car, you dont need to remove the glass

i have circled in this pic where the pillar bolts to the side trim

that is underneath the side trim but you will need to be able to get your hand and a wrench behind the c pillar to remove the bolt

the weatherstipping hanging in the air in this pic is what needs to come down to get to the bolts holding the trim in along the edge of the roof

it just pulls out by hand

you can also see the weather stipping hanging here, dont need to remove it from the door jamb where it is rivited in

I didn't think that was what the OP is referring to. I thought it was the bit that goes over the door.

you might be able to get the bolt by just loosening the top few bolts holding the c pillar on, i had it completly removed because i was replacing it

its really a pain in the ass to get off
