"How is the dealer going to tell? There is a Peramiter ID called FLASHEVNT that keeps track of how many times the PCM is flashed (or tuned). Your car came from the factory with this reading "1". If there was warranty work done that would require a tune from Ford, this number would go up the amout of times it had been reprogrammed at the dealer. It will also go up every time you flash or tune your PCM from your nifty handheld. There is no way to reduce this number, and no way to get around it. Yeah, I know there are tuners out there that claim to have a "no footprint" tune. Would I trust it? Not at all."I certainly hope you are not propagating the same old BS story that a car which currently has a stock calibration still has some evidence of a previous aftermarket calibration left behind.
First, I don't post anything on FB or pm anything on FB without knowing / wanting / expecting it could get back to someone.lol, I can roll with the punches when it’s not meant to completely destroy me.
I just find it funny that some companies have made their way to make me personally look bad. If they only knew that the PM's on facebook they send out have made their way back to me they would probably stop, I'm just saving everything
So, your calling me an idiot. I like it. You got caught with your hand in the cookie jar, and I'm the idiot. LOL. Yes, I made a got duped sale, because that's exactly what happened. Many people got duped. They were LIED to and taken advantage of.Shaun, I have nothing against you. The more I think about it, the more I understand what you were trying to do. I personally wish you would have approached me about this whole thing - I would have contacted Shaun that very same day to confirm. – I’d also like to say I never paid anyone to stick up for me nor have I asked for help or gave away free parts, this was an issue that I needed to take care of. Notice how Dan stayed out of it? It wasn’t his burden to handle either.
The same goes for Brendan, a simple "Hey!! what the hell?" would've helped me at least contact the right people.
Now I have idiots going around calling me a ripoff artist and making "got duped sales" when only 2 weeks before the situation they wanted to be "mend" and work together. (I saved that PM as well) Just shows you they're desperate, when all your bridges are burned, where else are you going to go? I'd like to find any customers that say I ripped them off or never tried to take care of them.
Okay, here's my balls hanging out. Yes, I offered to mend fences "before" this stuff happened. And what was the mending fences about. Nothing I did.A lot of the guys I've found talking crap about me haven't had the balls to approach me directly. The funny thing about most of it is, I've never met or done business with a lot them but they have no problems talking trash. Seems like everyone is bored and the drama on the interwebz is what makes them happy or, it helps them pass the time. Some say they don’t like me, I’ve come to the realization that, no matter how hard I try there will be individuals who don’t like me. Even though it drives me crazy.
Again, it wasn't 2 years ago. JUST BECAUSE YOU SAY SOMETHING DOES NOT MAKE IT TRUE!!!At least I can post on here, I'm still banned on SVTP on stuff that happened nearly 2 years ago (that I admitted to). Apparently I'm the only person on there who has sold stuff thru PM's and not be a vendor? I call bullshit. I was caught I admitted it and I personally moved on. Yet Travis has no issues talking trash about me on there, we approached him during Mustang Week and all seemed good, I guess not. It’s ok, we'll run into him again, I'm sure he'll talk crap to my face.... I doubt it though.... I'm sure Beef will post this on SVTP knowing I can't post on there. Customers of mine have repped me over there a few times then I get accused of having or paying people to promote me, lol, I just don't get it. Then they accuse me of making multiple screen names, I don't get that either.
And like Marc said, stating facts is not causing drama. You are not the victim.Sorry Marc for posting about another forum but it does play into the whole situation or what I like to call, others causing drama.
Again, directed at me.Again, I’m sorry to those who were involved in this, please contact me directly if you have any questions at all and I’ll take care of you. We’re still the same laid back group of guys that will answer any technical questions you have or price you something without hesitation or we can just shoot the ****. Even if you buy from someone else we have no problem talking you through an installation. Yes, we don’t have a shop yet but it’s in the process, heck we’re looking at other places to get in earlier just to shut people up. At least we don’t use another company’s shop and call it our own… just saying.
Let's set this straight. You sling a lot of parts for cheap. I get the business model, mine is very similar and I sling a lot of parts for cheap.I’d also like to state that we didn’t become a master dealer for Roush, one of the larger BMR dealers, nor did we become a master dealer for AirLift or… direct with many other companies because we used a distributor or went to another 3rd party. We do NOT use any other companies to buy products either, other than selling Lethal’s actual products we don’t go to other companies. Beefcake wanted me to buy Paxton’s and Vortech’s from him just a few weeks ago but I would rather have herpes than work with him.
Just had to get that out of my system, I just noticed the issue is still popping up around forums and facebook by other companies. This will be the last time I post about this on here at all regarding this subject.
Again, if you’d like to contact me please email or pm me and I’ll get you squared away. If you guys want to lock the thread I understand. I’m still here and Hypermotive and the crew are not going anywhere
