I just pulled the Raidator, valve covers, A/C, water pump, tensioner, belts and brackets.

Now its time to take off the manifold!

I will post some pic's later.

yes, were getting all new bearings.

Actually I'm not. I didn't know what bearing you were talking about until it just dawned on me now. No we aren't getting new bearings.

Here is my work so far! I feel pretty acomplished, for only being 17 and knowing very little about cars.

pull an engine from an explorer.. pickup a stock ho cam for $25 off cl and have more power/reliability then you previously did for $400 or less.

It would not be a good idea to continue using that motor unless you looked through it completely.

Like already stated, it would be cheaper and easyer in the long run just to go pull a explorer motor and put it in. They come with GT40 heads, but the cam is designed for trucks.

You can get a cheap trick flow stage 1 cam, or something.
