My old V6, it was clean but automatic and slow.... Sold her for 4K

Bought me a new stang....... 1999 GT 5-speed Forest Green

It has cams, full exhaust, and a tune. Needless to say its way faster than my old stang.

They are Comp Cams, 261 Intake 265 Exhaust at .006, 226 Intake 230 Exhaust at .050,
Lift .545 for both intake and exhaust. I got the car for 6K, it makes 294 rwhp and 308 rwtq.

That is some guy that lives across from me in Augusta. His exhaust scrapes when he pulls out of his driveway. The thing can't even idle right it pulses at idle ...... it's weird..... he is weird. I live in a culdesac and i took the pictures really quick after I washed it.

Weems, yeah I see you all the time in the exchange and in Lot 42 (well the cobra in lot 42). I don't live there my girlfriend lives there, I don't like one of my roommates and where I live kinda sucks so I stay with her a lot! I always see yalls cars when I'm walking my dog ...... there both hella clean!

Yeah it seems very well taken care of, It wasn't his daily driver, it pretty much stayed in the garage. He estimated that the cams only had about 4,000 miles on them. It has pypes header (dunno if those are that good, couldn't find any reviews, seem fine!) O/R h-pipe, and a flowmaster catbback, and 3.90's in the rear. It does need the foam in the driver seat next to your left leg replace its been worn. All in all its was a great deal on the car! I put new headlights, mach one chin spoiler and grill delete, and shorty antenna on it this weekend.

Yeah thats me, do yall ever go to the car meet up at advanced auto parts on Tuesday nights, they are kinda gay but sometimes there will be a couple nice cars? Me and a buddy sometimes ride down to a big car meet in savannah on sat night, those are cool (lots of bad ass cars).

I plan on lowering it, coilovers on the front and sportlines in the rear. Should give a level stance, no rake ..... we will see how that goes around Christmas.

Yeah we go to advance every now and then, haven't been in awhile though. I am pretty good friends with Steve (Silver L).

I don't think I know him, does he go to southern? Kinda random but, what springs are you running on the Bullitt & are those FR500's 18's (they look like it)?

Yeah that was a dyno read. The guy I bought it from had it tuned and gave me the dyno sheet. It defiantly feels like it has that power! Of course anything feels better than my V6 single port motor!

are the heads port and polished?

Man I need to know where he got the work done and send my stang there for cams and head work.:3gears

but right now im just saving and waitin. As of know I decided to blah the 5.4L swap and getting parts for a vortech s/c kit instead.
later on its boost cams, pp heads and forged internals.

The guy I bought it from had his buddy/builder who is a Ford tech do the cams with him. He said they changed out the plastic retainers that came on the 99's with the metal ones from an 02 i believe. He mentioned his buddy the Ford tech had some experience with porting and polishing and while they were doing the cams he did a little head work new valve springs and seals.

The car surprises me more and more every day with the amount of power it has. It's such a sleeper I want to take it to the track so bad, it already is sporting a pair of Nitto DR.
