I just bought 3 qts of this stuff. From what I have heard, and read for the past while that I've had my car Amsoil to me seems to be a slightly better performer than Royal Purple *I heard it foams at the track* Anyways, now, 3.0 qts vs. 3.2 quarts.???

My understanding is 3.2 quarts is when the transmission is BONE DRY.
So, just filling 3.0 quarts through a hose from the cabin (I don't wanna use the hand pump thing) shouldn't be a problem right? Also, doesn't matter how much you drain it, there is still going to be a little fluid left. So, I think I should be fine with 3 quarts... Opinions? I've read lots of how-to's about this, but, anything still helps.

(I bought the fluid from a swap meet today, $9.94/qt. :D )

As long as its just under the fill hole, its good. By the way, I lowered my car today no problem. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, it's gotta be a 1/2" from the top of the fill hole. I use a bent white Zip-Tie to check the level.
