Ok i changed the starter and starter solenoid and had the car with good jump wires to a F-250 truck and i am still only getting a clicking sound as if the starter was bad. And most of the times after the click all the lights go out as if the battery died and i have to take the wires off and and put them back on and then everything goes back to normal and same thing happens again after trying to start it. I was told it might be a bad ground but i have no idea where to start looking. Visually it all looks fine to me.

It is a carbed 85 5.0 notch.

Any and all help/opinions/advice will be greatly Appreciated.

Don't overlook the battery connections. I have those replacement cable ends on mine and had issues twice now with the car not starting because of a bad connection. I know I should get new cables but I can't bring myself to spend the money on oem replacemrnts. When I put the batt in the trunk, I'll be using terminal ends on the cable that can be bolted to the battery kind of like marine style.
