sounds like you may have a weak coil. or you could havv possibly got the wrong plugs a hotter or colder plug could make a difference as well but it sounds like when the coils are under a load you have one not putting out enough voltage.
i think its your coil is going out. when the CEL comes on and tells you witch one go by an oe one and replae it. i had the same problem
anyway to find out what one besides waiting for the cel to come on?
Is it making any noise with the misfire? I would also check to see if you didn't close the gap on a plug when you dropped it down into the head.
double check that you got all the coils on tight. You could always pull it all apart again, recheck the gaps and look for any indication that they have been firing. I believe there is a way to check the resistance of each coil to see if it is completely dead or not. If the car ran fine before the new plugs and like crap after I would venture to say the coils are probably fine.
do you need to gap ngks? i thought they came pre gapped
get the codes read anyway. i have an 02 F-150 with 120k+ and the last time a coil went out the computer stored a misfire code without setting off the check engine light. i replaced that coil and it runs fine again

^exactly what i was gonna say.

go to advance and get the codes read anyways. it will tell you which cylinder has the problem.
perhaps you put the wires on the wrong plugs?
im pretty sure im smarter then that, and im sure the problem would be more severe, ill try advance tomorrow thxs

good luck and damn nice car bro:cool:

isn't it hard to get the cop's on the wrong plugs on these cars? Its not like you have alot of slack to play with :)
well its fixed...i think lol, took it to advance and they read no codes so i cursed a little then just took all the plugs out measured gaps, cleaned coils, reinstalled them and now it runs fine, of course it was like this before where all seemed fine and sure enough it wasnt so i hope it stays good thxs for the help everyone
I have the exact same problem. Just changed to VPowers,,and now I have what feels like a miss when cruising,,,,so F'n pissed cause I was gonna drive it to GA from FL tomorrow.

So you just checked the gaps,,and reinstalled it all,,,and it was all good?
yea im not 100% lol, what is the gap? i used my cheap advance key chain gapper tool thingy and it measured .54-.55 is this bad or good?
