Installing long tubes

i have a few questions about long tubes on
should i do them at the same time as when i put lowering springs on?
should i do the egr delete and if i do what else do i have to do with that like block off the vacume lines or anything?
anything else that you can think of that would be a good idea before i go get it aligned after lowering it and long tubes?

hope your not going to drop it too far cuz you will bang the **** out of your tubes. one reason i wont lower mine is cuz i dont want to risk ****ing my longtubes and x-pipe up. but good luck if you do.
im putting sportline springs on it
go for it when you do the lowering springs...but i hope you know that your gonna wanna drop the k to install those longtubes.

:wtf why you say that. i never hit my lt's on anything. i have rubbed my mid pipe, but the lt's arent usually the issue. my car is on the ground as well. you should see some of the places i have had this car.

do the springs and exhaust whenever you want. if you want to do an egr delete, do it at this time. not too big of a deal to leave it on.
EGR delete isn't going to get you anything. Not much point in doing it.

exactly i had the slp catted x pipe on my gt lowered with h&r's and the cats would rub occasionally but it never messed the x pipe up. whether it be scraping doing 110 or climbing over a speed bump it always held up.

ya i figured i would have to thats y i wanted to do them at the same time so i dont have to do to alignments.
two alignments? why would you have to do 2?

i was just saying in reference to where he lives. i know where i live even not lowered my x-pipe takes some punishment to all the dips/driveways/speed bumps etc and it gets kinda hectic to be always watching how you drive so you dont damage anything. trust me i want to lower mine to get that aggressive stance and better handling, but i dont want to have to worry about every little thing in the process. i know people that have done it and had a few problems with it, not being really major....but still scraping and rubbing everywhere. its all in the roads where you live which is what i was trying to say ;)
If I drop the k member don't I have to get an alignment after?

if some of the roads were any worse that i go down, i will have to get a spotter to get me where i have to go. i deal with speed bumps/humps, dirt roads, rough roads, contruction areas, etc and never once come close to messing with my headers. the prochamber hangs down low and the box does get scrapped if i not carefull when i am articulating the car.

no. unhook the strut from the spindles, and you are good to go. you dont have to mess with the tie rods to drop it either.
