OK, my car with stock exhaust manifolds, bassani o/r x pipe, bassani axle backs, and cams, NOTHING ELSE, STOCK INTAKE, made 312 to the wheels. Dynos are all going to read different. Good example is Ken with his stroked 4.6 making a mere 300 hp (yeah right)........Don't come in here saying "it can't be done" and "its impossible" when it HAS been done, and IS possible. My car went 13.37 on stock pirellis with just exhaust and 3.73s. A dyno can read whatever you want it to read. My buddy has a dyno sheet of his 4.6 making 650 hp and over 900 ft lbs of torque.........the hp is right on actually, but do you seriously think it makes that much torque? no.

never spryed yet i dont trust the dyno chart a/f looks alright but its real chopped up in the bottom end. at 2000rpm it made 74rwhp at 3000rpm 90rwhp then it climbs with it falling of at 5100rpm running 281rwhp something is wrong. wouldnt even chance hittin the juice till the motor is workin right. and i still have to get plugs for it.

those are great numbers and i am not saying that it cant be done. it just cant be done at 2500ft,sure at sea level you should get a couple of 10ths better, but you would be lucky to see 13.9 with the mods you first listed.

I know what your getting at man. Its harder to run at higher elevation, which is very true. BUT thats besides the point. Your original argument was that is wasn't possible at all. How do I know this? Because the person you were directing it to is also near sea level like me.

Not trying to hurt your feelings, but you need to find a new tuner. If he can't get your mild setup running right, what do you think is going to happen on spray?? 150 shot is pushing the limits big time on a stock motor, and your tuning AND fuel system have to be spot on. DO NOT spray a 150 shot on a stock fuel system either. I can help you out if you have any questions on nitrous, so can 07stroker, and a few other nitrous guys on here.

Wow, 20+ replies about nothing on topic:D
seriously though... How is this guy gonna tell me I'm 60hp high when I dynoed kinda low for my mods?
Either the C&L or the FRPP intake will be going on my new motor Juco. Honestly I stopped following all the intake "hype" going on, so i'm out of the loop so-to-say on them. I like the way the C&L looks and fits, and I I'm liking some of the direct port setups I have seen with them. I have a stock intake Im thinking about sending to HSW to have a direct port fabbed up, but I'm finishing the motor and clutch before I do anything.

What about throttle body? Frpp billit 62mm or Whipple monoblade? Both are close in price. Whipple claims to flow the highest and requires an aftermarket intake manifold.

I def have not been following the throttle body stuff. Only thing I know about them is my buddy has a JPC intake and a polished FRPP TB and DAAAMMNNN that thing looks wicked!!!! haha i'm not going to be much help on that. Personally I would ask Rich, which I think ya'll have talked about it before. He seems to be "in the know" on the n/a stuff (intakes, TBs, etc)........but I bet he says go with a JPC intake!!! LOL

FRPP intake is slated to come out in March/April 2010 and cost somewhere between $600 and $800. No one knows for sure if it is going better than the Short Runner C&L. Except, of coarse, people that already have the FRPP intake for testing. I am aware of two out there already. One of them can't say enough. One is on a built n/a car in Canada, the other is on a supercharged car here in the states. The guy in Canada says he got a great increase in HP on the top end with the FRPP intake and new FRPP billet throttle body, but won't say exactly how much. The guy with the supercharged car with the FRPP intake is very tight lipped and won't even say if he likes it or not yet.

If it were my money, I'd save and wait for the FRPP intake. Mostly because the R&D that is going to come from Ford is going to be leaps and bounds better than the R&D that came out of C&L. Ford had a lot more money to play with, obviously, so hopefully it pays off in the intake design.

I know i said i wasnt posting but this one has me laughing so hard i have too. And since nasty said join in the fun i think i will.

What really is your point? Why do i care what i would run in canada, why would the op care what he would run in canada? and lastly, **** mustang dynos, who ever said they were the industry standard? For the record they are a JOKE! what becuase they read lower they are accurate? Do you know what HP is? Look up the deffination of HP. The simple reality of this argument is this; I run my car where i live, i clock the track times i clock where i live and drive everyday and i dyno the car where i live and drive everyday. The fact is people around here run 13s in bone stock mustangs and 12s with bolt ons, period. We really dont care that our car would be slower if we lived where you live..

Unfortunatley for you, asses don't come with correction factors. If they did your car would feel as fast as ours do at sea level.
