i do need an intake, i know . but whats gona get my power up. these cams are good for 6500+ so whats the deal mine stops dead at 5100 and falls off like it jumped of a building a/f is prety steady at 13.5
Pitbull, just one other thing to consider that I didn't see anyone else comment on during all this (amazingly enough). Your 4.30 gears will show considerably less rwhp on the dyno than say, 3.73 gears would. Just a crappy tune and that doesn't make me surprised at all with the results you have had to this point, especially at any significant elevation. just my .2
I am also interested in a new intake manifold. I haven't seen the FRPP version or specs does anyone know if it is available of if specs are posted? Right now I am thinking about getting the JPC intake after I do a FRPP cam install this comming Spring.
My 05 GT Automatic is getting 299.26 RWHP & 287.07 RWTQ with just a few bolt ons. FRPP shorty headers, K&N CAI, 4.10s, Dyno Tune (via SCT), Steeda UDPs that's about it. I am still running the original spark plugs too.
