I've read that with a supercharger the HPS Hardball'r intake will give you about 25 more rwhp. There are other ways of getting 25 rwhp. Some safer mods that do not generate more horsepower but transfer it to the rear wheels are electric water pumps and aluminum driveshafts. Electric water pumps transfer around 15-18 hp to the rear wheels. I've read that aluminum drive shafts can transfer up to 15 hp to the rear wheels.
I've also been told that not all mods put the same stress on the rods and pistons. For example if you are supercharged, headers are supposed to be a little easier on them than adding more boost.
