So I was looking on bmr's website b/c soon I will be getting their tubular k-member and I noticed you can get it with 1/2" lower motor mounts for supercharger clearance.
Wouldn't it be a good thing to get anyway for the clearance because then the CENTER OF GRAVITY WOULD BE LOWER thus creating better handling characteristics?
also, once that is done, is it ok for the driveline (transmission mounts, pinion angle etc.)? what about for all the connectors and stuff in the engine bay, would anything be stretched?
probabally would be good if you had a 4" aluminum shaft, creating a little more clearance...
Anyways, just some thoughts I had last night before bed...
