Hi all,

I am working on a friend's 2002 3.8L Mustang with 130k. It is sputtering intermittantly while driving, feels like a misfire. Today I replaced spark plug wires. She said it was a little better, but it would still sputter occasionally when driving. I'm thinking it's a spark issue, so I'm planning on doing spark plugs and coil pack tomorrow. Any other ideas? What else could it be?

Sounds like a coil pack to me

Try using seafoam. I was having the same problem and first thing I thought was the coil pack and wires. First I wanted to try seafoam though, and I did, and the problem went away. Worth a try.

It could be a lot of things.
Seafoam first. Its the cheapest.
Spark Plugs/Coil pack
Fuel Filter/Fuel Pump.
Horrible gas.
