So as we all know the power comes from larger maf and tune. Is there any gains going from c&l to the jlt? I can get the intake cheap and the tune dont cost anything to me so is there a diff

Probably not if all you do is basic bolt ons. However the JLT will probably have an advantage if you further increase the engine's demand for airflow either by doing heads/cams/intake manifold/throttle body upgrades on the stock 4.6 short block, or by adding displacement with a stroker.

I figured. But ive seen them on stockish mustangs they run great. I just wasnt sure if itll make a difference if i already have a c&l racer

I was debating upgrading to the JLT as well, since I have cams, manifold and a gt500 tb, but I do not actually think my airaid is a restriction.
