I have always been a firm believer in Mac. I have their headers and prochamber on my 06 and their headers, prochamber, and produmps on my 91... Love the sound... Heres a clip of my 91... You cant see anything as there is something wrong with the camera ( it really wasnt that dark out ) but you can hear what Im talkign about...

I love mine. When I took it to the dealership for a free oil change the mechanic asked me what mufflers I had b/c he wanted them for his '06.:D

There is quite a bit of "drone" at about 2000, but I personally like it.

I like mine so far, have a unique sound. Not much drone with my catted-X. I like them in conjunction with my Kooks set up better then the Magnapaks I had before.

Did you loss any low end torque after you got the Mac Axel backs?? I lost alot of low end torque after my Mac boomtubes install. I took them off and put back my stockers and holy crap the torque came back. Just want to know if the seat of the pants feeling gets lost with the Mac axel backs?

I just took mine off because 1 they didn't fit right (wrestled with it for an afternoon and had an exhaust shop look at it) and 2 the drone between 1800-2100 rpms was too much for me. I just put my flowmasters back on and all was right with the world. I will admit though, they do sound nice aside from the drone. They did turn more heads then my flowmasters, if only the flows were a little louder :(

add an o/r prochamber if you like the rumble or an o/r x-pipe if you like a little rasp. both will make it much louder

I hear mixed things about the flows and a midpipe....i was thinking the prochamber, but i did think that the mrt catted h sounded good as well.

I want a setup that I can live with on a daily basis.....both in the city and on the highway. I have been known to use the radio on occasion, so i would like to actually be able to hear it :)

yeah the funny thing is i only had the slp's at first and i totally understand where you are coming from. after adding the frpp xpipe it got quieter in the cab and louder out back. i can easily hold a conversation or talk on the phone. after adding the lt's and new midpipe who knows, but it also won't be a dd anymore.

I don't have another car, so the stang is my DD. I thought about getting a cheapo car to use to drive to and from work and just use the mustang as a weekend car.....who knows.
